A Piece of the Action is pleased to announce their very first ever TWO DAY event! The next Comic, Toy, & Collectibles Swap Meet will be held over the weekend of July 25-26, 2009. And they have a brand new home this outing - the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Additson, TX! If you have attended All-Con or FenCon in the last couple of years then you know the Crowne Plaza. They are very excited to host their first hotel show!
They are in the process of arranging events and guests for the show weekend. For now they want to let everyone know that friend of APOTAC and the Swap Meet's very own resident super-hero PurrKayla will be joining them all weekend! Our favorite local hero has offered to provide some really great programming for us which will be officially announced in the next few days. PurrKayla tried out for Who Wants to Be a Super-Hero and has been a local convention presence ever since. Earlier this year she took the top prize in All-Con's "Super-Hero Sunday" so be sure to congratulate her when you see her in the halls at the Swap Meet! We are honored to have her back with us again!
