Nimoy Talks The Future Of Spock Prime

I got to meet the legend, but I didn't get the chance that Star Trek Communicator and Official Fan Club founder Dan Madsen did to sit down with Leonard Nimoy and speak to him about whether he thinks Spock Prime will show up in the sequel to the new Star Trek. Here's a little of what he had to say:

"I have no illusions on whether or not they need me. They decided that they wanted to make this film using Spock as kind of an anchor for the story, which I think worked very, very well. They don't have to do that again. If they decide they have a role for me to play, I would be very interested in talking to them about it. But I have every reason to believe that they have established a whole new set of characters, and they can sail very well without me, and that's fine. Either way is good with me. I am very gratified that this has happened."
They also talk about the way the character of Spock was basically just abandoned in the other film series, how he feels about the alternative timeline idea, how he thinks Gene Roddenberry would feel about the new movie, and lots more. It really is an interview that NEEDS to be read. You can check it out here.
