Interviews with Gary Oldman and Robert Zemeckis for A Christmas Carol

These interviews were done for Disney's A Christmas Carol. The first one is with Gary Oldman about his role as Bob Cratchit. He discusses his character, why he wanted to do the film, adapting the novel, and how he feels about the film. The second part is with producer / director / writer Robert Zemeckis about why he made the film, Charles Dickens, the story, Jim Carrey, and casting actors in multiple roles. This footage is used with permission of Disney.

Ebenezer Scrooge begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk and his cheery nephew. But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.

A Christmas Carol is directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Robin Wright Penn, and Bob Hoskins.

The movie comes out this coming Friday, November 6th.
