Trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths

Thanks to IGN DVD, you can now check out the trailer for the upcoming Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths animated feature that is coming out in the spring of 2010. The direct-to-DVD release is based on the classic library of DC Comics' "Crisis" stories.

In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a "good" Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.

Mark Harmon voices Superman, William Baldwin is Batman, Chris Noth is Lex Luthor, Gina Torres plays Wonder Woman, James Woods is Owlman, and Bruce Davison voices the President. Award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League) came up with the original story and it's being executive-produced by Bruce Timm. Co-directors for the project are Lauren Montgomery and Sam Liu.

I have to say I'm a bit concerned about the fact that Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly are not voicing the characters that we have come to identify them with. I wonder what's up with that? They didn't voice them in Justice League: The New Frontier, either. Maybe they're just trying to give it another flavor.
