Robert Culp Dead At 79

Actor Robert Culp has died at age 79. According to his spokesman, Dick Delson, he died in his home in Hollywood after collapsing nearby. Delson told reporters that "Mr. Culp was walking in a park this morning, outside his home, and fell. We do not know if it could have been a heart attack, and he has died. He was taken to the hospital where (he) was pronounced dead after 11:00 am (1800 GMT) on Wednesday."

Culp is most well-known for his role as secret agent Kelly Robinson opposite Bill Cosby in the action series I Spy for three season (1965-1968). He also played the character of Bill Maxwell opposite William Katt in 44 episodes of the comedy / super hero series The Greatest American Hero, which has become somewhat of a cult classic. The legendary actor was in several genre-oriented films and TV series in his career, including Santa's Slay, The Dead Zone, Conan, Gargoyles, Xtro 3: Watch the Skies, Silent Night, Deadly Night III: Better Watch Out!, and many more.

Our condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends.
