The Hottest Band in the World and Demon Hunter Ash Team Up in KISS / Army of Darkness Comic Series

KISS teams up with demon slayer Ash to take on the Evil Dead in Dynamite Entertainment's KISS / Army of Darkness five issue mini-series. The limited title is written by Chad Bowers and Chris Sims. Artwork is provided by the talented Ruairi Coleman. Look for it in comic shops on February 28th.

In KISS / Army of Darkness #1, the Hottest Band in the World is on top of the world and rocking faces until the night disciples of The Destroyer show up and the band disappears. With the tour canceled, a young Ash misses one of the most important events of his life that will change his destiny. UPDATED - Picture! New KISS and Scooby-Doo Animated Teamup in the Works!

UPDATED! Tommy Thayer also confirmed a new Scooby-Doo and KISS teamup on his Twitter account. He posted a picture with the news as well. He stated, "Me, @genesimmons, the Mystery Machine, doing voiceovers for new KISS #ScoobyDoo."

Gene Simmons let "slip" today that there will be a new team-up between KISS and Scooby-Doo and his gang in the near future. There's no word as to what this new animated adventure will be about, but rest assured it will be full of adventure, excitement, humor, and ROCK AND ROLL!

The God of Thunder broke the news on his Twitter account, posted on November 17th.

"SCOOBY DOO - thanks to the writers and producers. Was proud to... join Paul, Tommy and Eric today in doing voiceovers for a new Scooby Doo."
