"Star Trek" and "Star Wars" Collide at Fan Expo Dallas 2016

Fan Expo returns to the Dallas Convention Center Friday, June 3rd through June 5th. There’s always something to celebrate in the world of Geekdom and it’s no different this time around. The universes of “Star Wars” and “Star Trek” collide as we join together to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of going “Where No One has Gone Before” and a new era of “a galaxy Far, Far Away.”

“Star Trek” celebrates half a century with a golden anniversary celebration bringing together William Shatner, George Takei, and Nichelle Nichols to meet and greet fans of the franchise. Actors will participate in question and answer panels and give insights into their careers as the iconic characters we all know and love. Other events include a tutorial on how to speak Klingon and celebrity photo ops.

We’re in a bountiful time for “Star Wars” enthusiasts and Fan Expo Dallas has plenty of reasons you should attend their latest convention. Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) headline an impressive gathering of celebrities to celebrate George Lucas’s endearing space saga. Jeremy Bulloch reveals the man behind the helmet of Boba Fett as he signs autographs and shares stories from his experiences working on the original trilogy.

Voice actors from both “Star Wars Rebels” and “Star Wars: Clone Wars” will be greeting fans of the their respective television shows. Steve Blum gives Zeb Orrelios the attitude and charisma he’s known for as he ushers in a new Rebellion against the forces of the evil Empire. James Arnold Taylor brings Obi-Wan Kenobi to life in animated form.

The 501st Stormtrooper Garrison will be hosting charity events and opportunities for attendees to get up close and personal with a number of different baddies from the world of “Star Wars”. There will also be opportunities for you to get your picture taken with Roxy the Rancor and the Luggabeast from “The Force Awakens”.
