I'll be completely honest. I really don't know how good of an idea it is to even be trying to make a sequel to Ridley Scott's sci-fi masterpiece "Blade Runner." However, they're doing it with not only his, but Harrison Ford's blessing as well. We might as well just strap ourselves in for the ride and hope for the best under Director Denis Villeneuve's ("Arrival," "Sicario") leadership. After the jump, you can check out the "Blade Runner 2049" Announcement Teaser and the new synopsis for the film.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
