Moviegoers can get prepared this weekend for the coming of Alien: Covenant by taking in what appears to be another retread of all the same ground we've already covered in countless other sc-fi flicks. In Daniel Espinosa's Life, we discover another alien lifeform. The alien systematically kills off a crew one by one. It even looks like it can infect or possess a person's body from hints in the trailer. I don't want to completely disregard a movie from its two minute trailer, so I'll no doubt see this when it hits Blu-ray and hope I'm wrong in the meantime. I'm sure it will feed everyone's appetite for sci-fi horror until we get the real deal from Ridley Scott in May. Check out the trailer after the jump.
Astronauts (Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds) aboard the International Space Station are on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As members of the crew conduct their research, the rapidly evolving life-form proves far more intelligent and terrifying than anyone could have imagined.
Life infests theaters on March 24th, 2017.
