Voice Actor June Foray Passes Away at 99


Iconic voice actor June Foray has passed away at age 99. She has provided the voices for over 300 roles in her 7-plus decades in the world of television and film. Her most well-known role was probably as Rocket J. Squirrel in "Rocky and Friends." Foray also lent her voice to a deadly talking doll way before Chucky or Dolly Dearest. In the 1963 episode of "The Twilight Zone" entitled "Living Doll," she brought to life the naughty Talky Tina.

Foray's other roles included Cindy Lou Who in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," Granny in several Bugs Bunny titles, and Lucky Smurf in "The Smurfs." Foray's voice can also be heard in "Scooby-Doo! Where Are You?," "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends," "The Incredible Hulk," and most recently in a revival of "Rocky and Bullwinkle." You can read more of her credits right here.
