The Batmen are Falling in Detective Comics #972 [COMIC BOOK REVIEW]

There's a whole lot going on in issue 972 of Detective Comics. Writer James Tynion IV doesn't leave much time to breathe as he thrusts the reader frantically from panel to panel. Things get personal and ultimatums are explored as the lives of our Bat Family hang in the balance, which leaves us highly entertained and on the edge of our seats waiting to see what happens next. Also, what Batman fan wouldn't love a tale featuring both Anarky and Azrael in the same book? Although this is part 4 of a story arc, I still enjoyed just jumping in on the ground floor and going along for the ride.

Batman might have overpowered the Victim Syndicate, but they had one last surprise for him: a secret weapon that’s made one of his strongest rogues nearly unstoppable in Detective Comics #972!

James Tynion IV wrote Detective Comics #972. Diana Egea and Miguel Mendonça provided art for the issue. It was released on January 10th through DC Comics. The book is 32 pages long.

Detective Comics #972 is available now in print and digital editions.
